Book Reviews
One of my greatest joys is the time I spend reading. And I could go into all the reasons I love to read but in the end the only thing you need to know is I LOVE to read.
And with that in mind I love to let people know about what I am reading and if it is worth their time or not.
Please take a look at my reviews and know that reviews are subject to the reviewer. So take them or leave them here they are.
Great book, loved it. Would highly recommend it.
Good book.
This was a good book. I didn't have anything glaringly bad with it, nor did I see anything that really stood out. I liked it.
I didn't really enjoy it.
Bad, wouldn't recommend this book.

Book Reviews/And being and author...

Book reviews and being an author. Is this a conflict of interest?!?!

I've worried lately about whether I should do both, is this a conflict of interest? Should I do both? Do I have the right to do both, shouldn't I stick to just writing books or reviewing.
And I had to sit myself down and ask myself if I should \ write reviews? I can tell you this, I’m not going to stop writing my books, being a published author is damn hard and I'm proud to be a published author. And it’s something I have worked toward since I was thirteen years old and I wrote my first draft in pencil on loose leaf lined paper. Before home computers were a norm and laptops were even invented. That first story draft is stuffed in a trunk in my closet, where it rightly belongs, but being a published author isn't something I am going to give up on so I can continue to write reviews.
One of the hardest things about being  a published author is getting a review. Any kind of review, whether it be a 5 star review saying your book is the best thing every written, to something which drags your book through the mud saying it was the worst thing the reader has ever read. It doesn't matter, reviews are hard to take. But I would like to think my reviews make a difference for other authors, and other readers.
But reading is my passion, and something I do that soothes my soul. And writing reviews on books I read gives me joy. And I like to share those views and reviews with others because I hope to share that joy with others.
I don’t think sharing my joy and love of reading with others is wrong. (Check out where my obsession with books started.)
So where do I go from here? What is the answer? I still don’t have an answer…

What do you think? Leave a comment below, and share with me whether you think this is a conflict or not...

Music Junkie

Music Junkie

I have a confusion to make. I’m a music junkie. Next to finding that next great read…I’m always in search of a great song. And I don’t care if it’s country or rap or heavy metal or opera I’ll listen to it.
If you were to grab my iPod and scroll through it you would probable think I had multiple personality’s (which honestly is a whole other post). I have instrumental music mixed with rap and singer/songwriter. I’ll move from Eminem to the Pistol Annies on the same playlist.
When someone coined the phrase ‘soundtrack to my life’ they had me in mind. I have a ticker tape that runs through my mind on a daily basis of my music.
I have a playlist on my iPod named: Yes that I just update as often as needed with songs that I find. This playlist is the soundtrack to my life. I can’t live without my music I can’t write, can’t workout. Sometimes I use it to help me sleep.
Currently my playlist is larger than it has ever been with 47 songs…wow. But there are so many great songs out there right now. I thought I would share my Yes playlist with you. Some have specific meaning that touch me deeply and others make me get up and dance. And some make me cry. But they all speak about where I am currently in my life right now. So enjoy...

Picking Up After Taking Some Time Off

So I’ve been MIA for about 6 months. Did I mean to take 6 months off… first it was my day job was killing me. Then I had a personal tragedy that I just couldn’t get over. Then I had to finish book 3. And now I’m like I have to edit book 3 and start book 4. Everything is so overwhelming, life is so

overwhelming.
So who did I let down by taking the time off? Just myself…
Anyway so what is going on now? What can you expect from in the coming months? What is happening now that I have taken back control from the cyber gods that have taken control over my blog and website while I have floated over in la la land?
Well I will be blogging at least once a week updating you will snippets from what I am working on… yeah… right?? So if you are excited about book 3 (Reaper Mine, Victors story) stay tuned because his story will be out this summer. Or sooner if I can get it edited and out of the door. Plus I am writing two stories right now. And it’s up in the air which one will take off and be the next book, all I will say right now is this: One is a Tracker book and another is a Reaper book.
I will be Vlogging on my Youtube channel once a week doing book reviews, book hauls and fun stuff over there. So don’t miss out on that fun stuff. So if you haven’t subscribed to my channel make sure you run over there and do that. Hopefully I will be getting some fun author interviews up and going over there.
Plus I am always doing lots of book reviews on my Goodreads page so don’t miss out on those. My first love is reading so I always have a book I am reading so don’t miss my snarky reviews over there.
I’ll be updating my website with crazy Character Review from my books in the next month or so check my author website for that it will be awesome.

Also I’ll be updating my blog with current information. And my schedule with what to expect from me int he coming months. So exciting, I'm really excited to be back and ready to attack all the wonderfulness of what's coming. Hope your ready for the ride. I have to admit the last 6 months have been really really difficult and hard emotionally and physically and I'm ready for something better and wonderful. And I'm ready to make that happen for myself and my amazing fans. So let's do this...
So if that isn’t enough…which I think it might be. NO It total is enough. Wait just in case you are wondering:
Reaper Mine (book 3) Published: Summer 2014
Books 4 and 5 Fall and Winter 2014
   Now that is enough.
I love to hear from fans. Much love and all that wonderful stuff.
